Life Coaching
Life coaching is about building resilience, flexibility, perseverance, courage and integrity, with the primary aim of helping clients live their espoused or perhaps unspoken values.
I have helped clients address a wide range of issues by getting to the root of problems, and encouraging active change in the real world, including:

Emotional Issues
- Depression
- Burnout
- Anxiety
- Stress management
- Performance management in sport and work
- Looking for a sense of purpose
Work-related Issues
- Starting a business
- Publishing a book
- Making the transition from corporate to self-employment
- Career and job change
- Motivation problems at work
- Finding motivation and direction in life in general
- Balancing work and family
- Job satisfaction
- Career success
Relationship-Oriented Issues
- Divorce and relationships in transition
- Finding satisfaction in current relationships
- Personal power and behaving effectively in relationships
Each client is unique, and will often bring an entirely new issue or combination of issues.
Coaching with me is powerful – you will be heard, and you will be encouraged to make realistic and appropriate change. In weekly, face-to-face sessions, I first hear your story. Then, through relevant, concise, and sometimes challenging questions which integrate seemingly distinct issues, I help you find your own solutions. You take action, and see what works and what doesn’t. I support this process with ideas, encouragement, and inspiration. I encourage you to contact me between sessions via email or telephone as needed.
Through the coaching process, learning takes place at many different levels, and ideally, culminates in real action.
